Jay, you are a regular bad-ass!

"Head out on the highway"...We took a fall color ride through upper Michigan to enjoy all the changing of the leafs and stopped in front of this beautiful orange hardwood for a photo op. The weather was a little cool so we had on our leathers.

Justin does a pre-flight inspection before heading out over Ft. Myers.

A little town near us has a winter festival each year that we like to go to. The town is a replica of a Bavarian Village with German brew pubs and restaurants. Each February they have an international Ice Carving Festival. It was about 7 degrees this year when we went with about 2 feet of snow on the ground. After a couple of hours outside looking at all the carvings it's nice to go inside for a hot drink and to thaw out. Here is Sherry bundled up for a walk around town.

Here's Sherry throwing lead down range! Anarchists watch out, you might be messing with the wrong woman.

Misc. pics

Taking Jay's lead, here are some random photos to share. The one of me surfing was in Mexico in Jan. (had not been on a board in 26 yrs!!) It was still a blast.

Get R Done!

Hi Family,

I hope everyone starts to post their favorites here. If everyone uploads a few photos that would be nice.

Weenie has pneumonia!

Hey Everyone! This is a great idea Chelle, thank you.

I called Maureen Sunday to hear her gasping for breath. She has pneumonia and is pretty laid up. Please send her some TLC!

Pics of Emma are adorable.

Spring Break with Emma and the Kids

It was great spending time with the kids, Emma is growing so fast and changing so much every time we see her. I love having the camera on the computer and being able to see and talk with her. Sorry for not letting the family know we were in Carolina but Jay and I spent a few days looking for houses/condos, we did not find anything we just had to have. I did find one home that would work well with Emma and it had a little bit of waterfront but last summer it was so hot and dry and was no longer a waterfront home for a short time. With our luck as soon as we bought it would be dry every summer so we will keep looking. At least we think we know what area we want to keep looking in. We will definitely let you know this summer when we are down. I will be there off and on throughout the summer, Jay does not know his schedule yet. I was hoping to retire this summer but with the way the economy is we thought we should play it safe and wait another year or two. Jay will post some pictures later.
Take care everyone!

Jay & Sherry Visit CLT

Hi all! We thought it would be fun to start a family blog so we can keep track of everyones happenings -- posts big or small, words and pictures.

If you don't participate I will be very sad. :-)

-------------------------------------------------------------

I'll start! Sherry & Jay came down to NC for a visit this week. (Really they came to visit Emma!) The weather was still a little chilly...but better then being in in MI where it was still snowing. We visited an animal ranch where Sherry got licked by a huge bull! We visited a few parks. And tried to find room for all the goodies that Sherry & Jay brought down for Emma. (Lucky us - they were mostly hand-me-down toys.) Our house looks like a plastic playland!!

We miss everyone!!
